JUNIPER

Juniper is a dry saison brewed to taste like a gin rickey. The idea came out of a brainstorm at Four Winds Beach House, and our head brewer Aaron turned it into something special. He preserved lemon and lime in-house by soaking them in salt and alcohol, then added juniper berries foraged from Vancouver Island to bring that botanical gin character.

Brewed with Pilsner, malted Wheat, & flaked oats and then dry hopped heavily with Vic Secret, Enigma and Motueka, to create a beer with notes of pineapple, lime and lemon zest, melon, and a touch of pine.
